On Tuesday, December 09, 2008 - 6:00 PM - the Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations will host its annual Christmas Covered Dish Supper for its member associatios and guest.  It will be on the 8th Floor at City Hall in the cafeteria and conference room.  The regularly scheduled business portion of the meeting is suspended for this joyous event.

Each person is asked to bring one dish to share.  The Council will provide all paper goods, drinks and ham and turkey.  This is always a wonderful event and we hope that you will make your plans to join us.

The Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations will host two forum in support of the upcoming City elections.  On Thursday, January 29, 2009, prior to the primary, the Council will interview candidates running for office.  On Thursday, February 26, 2009 the Council will again interview the remaining candidates prior to the general election.  The sessions will be at City Hall in the Commission Chamber on the 1st floor each beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.   Christopher Pollock will act as the moderator.  For further information contact Betty Shelley 954 938-9230.
