Florida Neighborhood Conference - Volunteers Needed

The City of Fort Lauderdale and the Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking volunteers to assist with the 10th Annual Florida Neighborhoods Conference, being held in Fort Lauderdale at the Broward County Convention Center from October 5 - 7, 2006.

Conference attendees will be gathering in Fort Lauderdale from all over the City, the state, and possibly the country, to share ideas, gain insights and learn more about improving their communities. We are looking for volunteers to give them a warm welcome to Fort Lauderdale and to assist them throughout the conference.

Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:

A/V Equipment
Exhibit Assistants
Greeter
Hospitality Room
Mailings
Neighborhood Tour Assistants
Registration
Social Events
Speaker’s Assistants
Workshop Assistants
