Dear Art Teacher, Artists, Organizations:
Broward General Medical Center and The South Andrews Business Association would like to invite you and your students to participate in a community wide local art competition. The winners will have their art work displayed on large banners on South Andrews Avenue between State Road 84 and Davie Blvd. We are asking the school art department if they would like to have it brought into the classroom. How it Works:
Registration: To sign up for project: Call or email Jeryl Madfis @ 954-701-8391, by January 11 with your school, contact information & number of banners you can complete.
We will supply the actual 30” x 60” banner material and painting supplies between
Jan 2 – Jan 16. Please think dimensionally & outside the box and let us know what special materials you may require.
Banner Due: February 16, 2007, Drop off location 1231 South Andrews Avenue,
Ft. Lauderdale - 954-463-0833. Please arrange 48 hours minimum advance notification required if pick up is necessary. , 954-701-8391
The winning 80 banners will be displayed on S. Andrews Avenue, March 1, 2007 through June 2007.
Possibility of the winning Banner will have a poster reproduction made for our use.
School top entry will win a pizza party for their class.
All selections may not be used. SABA retains the right to all winning artwork.
