MEETING MINUTES of November 26, 2007 moved (Dr. Hayes) and accepted as presented.  (Attachment A).
TREASURER’S REPORT by Ron Centamore – Moved and approved as presented (Attachment B)

NEW BUSINESS:
1. Agenda for February meeting is pending for further input at the January general meeting  it was suggested that the February meeting be a goal setting meeting for the upcoming year.
2. January meeting must be rescheduled due to the City Commission being rescheduled on top of us. The new date is January 7th, 2008. The guest speaker will be someone from the County Tax Assessor’s, probably, Mr. Bob Wolf
3. The member dues renewal letters were folded, stuff and sealed for mailing by the BOD.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. SMRCA – Report on election on November 27th, 2007 is attached as reported by Chair.
2. The Christmas party was reported as a total success.
3. The Ad Hoc Code Committee has reviewed the draft RFP Statement of Work and it should be out for bid in January.
4. It was discussed that the two professional that were a great support to the Ad Hoc committee should be recognized with a plaque and a gift certificate of $50 each.  The recipients are Courtney Crush, Attorney At Law and Gustavo Carbonell, Architect.
5. There were no committee reports.

For the good of the community:
CVC will be hosting a crime walk in Dorsey River Bend Crime Walk on January 11th 2008.  The location for signing up and parking is the Mizell Center, 1409 Sistrunk Blvd. and the walk begins at 6:30 PM.  Residents from all over the city are asked to participate in this series of 3 walks to get the message out that the resident of all of Fort Lauderdale will no longer permit crime.  CVC Points can be earned for participating in all 3 walks.
