South Middle River Civic Association (SMRCA) is the vocal body of South Middle River.
SMRCA is arguably - the most active local civic association in Fort Lauderdale. Comprised of volunteers, the association represents 2,100 households and another 600 condominium owners.
The mission of SMRCA is to be an inclusive organization in enhancing the quality of life for all who share our community.
To build on the shared strengths of our diversity. To rebuild our community’s infrastructure so that it can safely accommodate daily living. To provide a safe environment for our families by reducing crime and drug-dealing activity.
And to bring serenity into our lives by creating a community that is characterized by its natural beauty and goodwill among neighbors.
