City of Fort Lauderdale Crime Prevention Week The Citizens Volunteer Corps and the City of Fort Lauderdale ... invite you to help prevent crime! The Fort Lauderdale Police Department has organized numerous activities at the South Beach Parking Lot and Coral Ridge Mall to promote resident safety during Crime Prevention Week. WHAT Volunteers will distribute educational materials and fun give-aways to raise awareness of simple crime prevention measures WHEN Saturday, October 15, 2005 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. WHERE Meet at South Beach Parking Lot 700 Seabreeze Boulevard [identify yourself as a CVC volunteer] FREE Lunch and Parking will be provided for volunteers! All CVC volunteers are encouraged to come and help. Points/$ & community service hours can be earned by participation!
